Gender Healthcare Summit 2026
Following on from the astounding success of the inaugural CASC Gender Healthcare Summit in 2025, CASC is proud to introduce the 2026 event featuring international and national experts.
This summit will examine gender-affirming care as practised by the medical profession in Australia. It will consider the evidence for it and its impact on children, young people and families. Recent international developments and court cases, and alternative approaches to sex/gender-related distress in young people, will be explored.
Date: Friday 9th – 10th October 2026
Location: Adelaide, South Australia.

- Sallie Baxendale – Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist
- Patrick Parkinson – Emeritus of Law at University of Qld and specialist in family law and child protection
- Marcus & Susan Evans – Former Tavistock clinicians and gender care practitioners (via Zoom)

Genspect New Zealand Conference 2026
Their Future. Our Responsibility: Children, Adolescents and Gender Identity.
Genspect New Zealand’s 2026 conference will bring together international and New Zealand speakers to examine the medical, legal and educational issues surrounding gender identity in children and adolescents.
Dr Stella O’Malley, psychotherapist and Founding Director of Genspect, will attend in person as the keynote speaker. The programme will also feature Simon Tegg, Peter James Steven, Stephen Franks and Fern Hickson.
Date: Saturday 17 October 2026, 9.00 am–5.00 pm
Location: Wellington, New Zealand. The venue will be provided to ticket holders before the conference.
